Directs HJCC initiatives in business enhancement and expansion as part of Hawaii’s overall economic development vision for the Pacific, with a focus on Japan. It plans seminars on topics of interest to the business community and takes the lead in executing business missions to Japan to encourage trade between Hawaii and Japan. Seminars such as “How to Do Business In Japan” and the 25th Anniversary Sister Chamber Business Mission to Japan are examples of this committee’s activities.
