Honorary Board of Directors
Subject to Article X, Section I of the Amended and Restated By-laws of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce, "the Honorary Board of Directors shall consist of Past Chairmen (and Past Presidents prior to 1989) who elect not to be on the Board of Directors as provided in Article VI, Section 2."
Section 3 provides that "the Honorary Board of Directors shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors, to include, but not limited to, providing advice on carrying out the objectives and management of the Chamber; representing the Chamber in the community, and assisting the Board of Directors in matters relating to community relations."
